Beli The ancient centre of the northern part of the Island of Cres, the mythical village of Beli, is a true oasis of powerful and unrestrained nature. See the giant oaks, explore mystical labyrinths, Celtic tombs and roman structures, meet the sheep that roam free in the forests and marvel at, griffon vultures in the sky and playful dolphins in the blue depths... Everything here is tiny and beautiful, a white town on a hill and a delightful white beach beneath it. Every detail reveals 4000 years of the town's uninterrupted existence and history of perfect harmony between man and nature. Thus it's no wonder that the magnificent rocks of Beli are the habitat of 120 griffon vultures. This theme contines into the sea - the archipelago of Cres and Losinj (36 islands) is home to 150 dolphins.

Pension Beli On the northern side of the Croatian island of Cres there is a cozy little inn that overlooks the village of Beli. A haven for nature lovers, the beauty of the sea and the peaceful, historical atmosphere is inspiring. Situated just above the small beach and harbour, the inn offers bed and breakfast and evening meals. Guests can enjoy home cooked food, wine, fresh fish, olives and cheese. This is a home from home and is the perfect place for getting away from it all and also an ideal base for exploring the countryside and local cuisine. Try traditional lamb, or forest specialties during the mushroom season. The sumptuous sea food will enthuse even the most spoiled of gourmands!

An experienced team of adventure leaders provide a selection of organised trekking, sea kayak tours, cave exploring and team building programs. For those who would rather go at a slower pace there's also walking trips on eco-paths in the forests, mushroom picking or exploring the labyrinths! If you fancy a bit of diving then you're in the right place! A great dive base is located on a beautiful beach (Pod Beli) right under the inn. The diving is suitable for beginners and experienced divers alike. Dive instructors are on hand at all times to help and there are boat excursions to more than 10 locations, including two underwater caves and sunken ship wreck!
